The role – Account Executive

Over the past three years, Madano’s Healthcare Practice has grown significantly to become one of the UK’s largest focused healthcare communications offerings. To support our continued growth we’re looking for an Account Executive to join our team!

We’re looking for someone with bags of enthusiasm, who is motivated, curious, and eager to learn. Consultancy experience is not essential, but an interest and appetite for all things communications – media, health campaigns, science, digital – will be what defines the successful candidate. We want someone who can help our clients tell their stories.

Key skills:

Communications expertise

  • Someone who has an interest in media and understands what makes an interesting story
  • Someone who has a passion for writing and can work with our Creative team to produce multimedia (visual, video etc.) content
  • Someone with a good knowledge of digital communications and social media
  • An ability to simplify complex science
  • Someone who has an interest in the healthcare sector and the current health agenda, including latest innovations in drug development and health technology

Client service

  • Shows a determination to deliver results simultaneously across multiple complex accounts
  • Demonstrates an ability to multi-task in time-sensitive, pressurised situations
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in written communication

People skills

  • Be able to build relationships across the Healthcare Team and wider company
  • Be able to build trusted relationships with clients on the account which you work
